Every Ashmole & Co office across south, mid and west Wales will be closed on Friday, 27 August, to give staff an extra day off as a thank you for all their work and resilience during COVID-19.
Partners at one of the biggest accountancy firms in Wales have agreed to close all the offices and give every member of staff an extra day of paid annual leave in direct response to their efforts during the height of the global Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.

Ian Badham, Partner for Ashmole & Co said, “We hope our clients appreciate the reason why our offices will be closed on Friday, 27 August. We want to say thank you to all our staff as we are grateful for their resilience and dedication in serving our clients during the height of the pandemic. We are giving staff an extra day of leave to take care of their personal wellbeing.”

Ashmole & Co’s offices will re-open on Tuesday, 31 August, following Bank Holiday Monday.

As accountants were classified as a key service provider during the pandemic the team at Ashmole & Co have been accessible even during the periods of lockdown over the past 18 months. Staff have been on hand throughout for anyone who needed business advise and the team continued to help and find solutions for existing and new clients.

Although Wales has moved to Alert Level Zero Ashmole & Co is still taking a cautious approach. All visitors to offices are asked to ring ahead to book an appointment and clients are asked what their preferred method of meeting is as the firm appreciates not everyone is comfortable meeting face to face just yet. Visitors will be asked to wear a mask inside offices to continue to protect themselves and staff.
