Almost 600 local small firms have been helped to access the Government’s Furlough Scheme by local accountants, Ashmole & Co, resulting in 2,700 jobs being saved from redundancy. 
Claims made by Ashmole & Co to the Furlough Scheme, up to the end of October, resulted in £6.9million paid out to the 595 local companies who had to close or reduce their staff numbers due to the Covid19 pandemic. 
We are delighted to welcome an immensely experienced local Payroll Clerk to our Pembrokeshire Team. Our Payroll team has gone from strength to strength with Wendy Davies, from Pembroke, having recently joined as a Payroll Clerk covering our Tenby and Haverfordwest offices. 
Our Ammanford office is helping to support the young local mathematicians of the future by making a donation to Ysgol Llandybie Primary School to help with the purchase of the online maths resource for pupils called MyMaths.

The Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, has unveiled the government’s plan to protect jobs and support businesses over the coming months this afternoon. Central to the Chancellor’s plan is a new Job Support Scheme and an extension of the Self Employment Income Support Scheme.
