'Hair Today - Gone Tomorrow' Accounts Assistant Shaves off his hair for charity

Based in the firm’s Llandovery office, Christopher has had a full beard for five years. His partner has never seen him without a beard and his children took some persuading to let him shave his hair off! Ashmole & Co clients would not know him any other way as he started with the firm almost a year ago. 

 

Christopher worked in the licence trade from the age of 13 and knows only to well the highs and lows of running and working in the industry. For the 10 years before he joined Ashmole & Co he successfully ran the Royal Oak Inn in Rhandirmwyn. As a result of the Coronavirus Pandemic all pubs and bars have had to close for the foreseeable future. Christopher has chosen to raise money for the Licensed Trade Charity which helps pubs, bars and brewery people when they are in need of help. Christopher said, “The thought of shaving off my full head of hair, aswell as my beard, was terrifying. My nan was the only person that was pleased as she said she would be able to see her grandson’s face again! There’s a lot of charities struggling to raise funds during these difficult times, and I wanted to show my support for a charity that is close to my heart. Thank you to everyone who has supported me.”
