We are delighted to announce that Rachel Evans has started working in our Swansea office, whilst studying for her ACCA professional exams.
Rachel, from Cwmgwrach, near Neath, joined the Ashmole & Co team as a Trainee Accountant, part qualified, in September after graduating from Aberystwyth University with a 2:1 in Accounting and Finance.
Rob Vaughan, Partner in Ashmole & Co’s Swansea office said, “It is important as a profession that we help to train the next generation of accountants. Qualified staff members are the lifeblood for the future success of our firm. Covid19 has been an added pressure for anyone starting a new position as we are told to work from home rather than together in the office but Rachel has taken on that extra challenge and is managing everything really well.”
As a part-qualified accountant, Rachel’s responsibilities include: VAT; Tax returns and preparing end of year accounts for local sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
Rachel said, “I am grateful to Ashmole and Co, who are one of the most established and largest teams of chartered, certified accountants and auditors in south and west Wales, to give me this opportunity. I am enjoying working with a variety of businesses and helping clients. It hasn’t been easy starting a new job during the Covid19 restrictions, but the team have been really helpful and welcoming.”
Ashmole & Co Chartered, Certified Accountants have been established since 1897 and are one of the largest accountancies and auditing practices in Wales, operating from thirteen offices throughout south and west Wales including Swansea, Neath, Carmarthen and Haverfordwest.
