staggering fundraising total

Running way beyond her fundraising target for the London Marathon is Ammanford’s Ashmole & Co Partner, Laura Craddock. She has already raised £17,000 (£7,000 more than her original target). Laura is running the London Marathon in April to help raise funds for a charity that is close to their family’s heart - the Teenage Cancer Trust as well as local causes.
Running way beyond her fundraising target for the London Marathon is Ammanford’s Ashmole & Co Partner, Laura Craddock. She has already raised £17,000 (£7,000 more than her original target). Laura is running the London Marathon in April to help raise funds for a charity that is close to their family’s heart - the Teenage Cancer Trust as well as local causes.
Laura’s younger brother, Leighton, was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2010 at the age of 23. He underwent 15 months of gruelling treatment including a stem cell transplant, which he received on the Teenage Cancer Trust ward in Cardiff Hospital. Nine years on and he has made a full recovery.
Laura Craddock said, “Thank you to everyone who has helped me get beyond my target of £10,000. I’m so grateful to all those who attended our charity evening in Llandybie Rugby Club earlier this month and contributed to the raffle and auction.
“My family will always be indebted to the Teenage Cancer Trust for the life saving treatment my brother received. I would have been the last person you would say that could run a marathon a few years ago! I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to take part in the London Marathon 2020 even on the cold, wet, raining, training days!”
